Suitable brew methods: Espresso (but do expect some lack in Crema, due to the decaf process), Pour-over
Roaster Comments: We wanted the decaf beans to taste as close as possible to normal coffee, and compensated body with an extended roast, to closely replicate the cocoa taste notes that we are familiar with most coffee.
Disclaimer: The coffee beans are medium roasted however it will develop a shiny oily sheen as it rests. This is due to the ethyl acetate processing that removes caffeine compounds, which also breaks down the bean cellular structure of the beans more, making it more porous and prone to leeching natural oils.
